About Me

Hello! My name is Lisa Dominici, and I am so excited to be teaching second grade at Wilson Wims this year. I have really enjoyed being a part of the Wims community these past four years. It has been a pleasure getting to know so many wonderful Clarksburg families.

 

I live in Poolesville, MD with my husband Chris and our four children. My daughter Mason is a senior this year at Salisbury University, majoring in Elementary Education. She plans to be a teacher, too. My son Perry is a freshman at the University of South Carolina. My son Tim is a junior at Poolesville High School, and my youngest son Jack is in seventh grade at John Poole Middle School.

 

My favorite part of teaching is getting to know my students and their families. It is a pleasure for me to learn from my students. I look forward to creating an environment where we teach each other new and exciting things every day.

 

My family and I are dedicated New England Patriots football fans and Boston Red Sox baseball fans. I love to talk sports with my students, and I especially love to hear about the extracurricular activities with which they are involved. My family and I like to spend time at the beach, particularly the Outer Banks of North Carolina as well as in Virginia Beach where I grew up. We also spend lots of time boating and swimming in the Chesapeake Bay.  Besides teaching, my other hobbies include running and biking. 

 

I know we are going to have a wonderful year. I am very excited about all the learning we are going to do and all the fun we are going to have together!
