About Me

My Name is Alisha Daugherity.  I was born and raised in Pittsburgh, Pennsylvania.  I moved to Frederick Maryland in 2008 and have been here ever since.  I currently live in Frederick with my husband and two children. My daughter’s name is Laken (4) and my sons name is Leo (3).  I love teaching, reading, running, playing soccer and spending all of my free time with my kids.

I earned my Bachelor’s Degree in Elementary Education from Clarion University of Pennsylvania.  I have been a teacher in Montgomery County for the past 9 years.  I have experience teaching Reading Initiative, 5th Grade and Kindergarten.  This will be my 5th year teaching at Wilson Wims!!!!
